A 32-year old Oklahoma City man is recovering in hospital after surgeons were able to successfully remove a fidget spinner that his penis had become trapped in. According to reports by local media, the man had modified the toy so that it could act as a “cock ring”, a device typically worn by men at the base of the penis in order to restrict the flow of blood and produce a stronger erection.

Emergency responders were called to the man’s property in Deer Creek late last night to respond to the incident after the man’s partner raised the alarm. “He’s been quite obsessed with fidget spinners for a while,” said the man’s distraught girlfriend. “I tolerated it because it’s good for him to have a hobby, but now I’m starting to wish I’d banned him from playing with them.”

According to the girlfriend, her partner came upon the idea of making a “cock ring” out of his fidget spinner after seeing a video on YouTube. In the video, a pair of YouTubers discuss various ways to ‘repurpose’ spinners, and making a “cock ring” was one suggestion. “He told me about his idea and I told him it was dangerous,” she said. “But at the same time, I was curious. I mean, if it could help to maintain an erection then it would definitely improve our sex life.”

The man spent some time modifying a few spinners until he found one that fit satisfactorily. However, being a “cock ring” novice, the man had not taken into account the fact that he needed to allow extra circumference to allow for his erect size. “He slipped it on and we started having sex,” said the girlfriend. “Things were going great and it was lasting longer than usual, but after he pulled out his penis looked weird.”

Despite attempts by both the man and his girlfriend the cock ring remained stuck, and the man’s penis began to discolor. “He started screaming and saying he was in pain, and he wouldn’t hold still to let me try and pull it off,” she said. Unable to remove the device, the girlfriend phoned for medical help.

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors were initially unable to provide any assistance to the man. “We just don’t have the tools here to remove a device like that, so we had to wait for a professional to arrive.” In the meantime the man’s penis continued to swell. “We had to make a small incision to drain some of the blood, otherwise it could have burst from the pressure.”

Surgeons were able to successfully remove the improvised “cock ring” and the man’s penis is expected to make a complete recovery. “We would urge the public not to use fidget spinner for this purpose,” said the surgeon. “As a toy, they are a harmless way to kill time, but they should never be used near the genitals or other sensitive parts of the body.”
